At least 28 new cases of dengue virus have been confirmed across Punjab within 24 hours, mounting the number of dengue infected patients to 2,447 in current year.
According to the Punjab Health Department, as many as 28 more dengue patients were brought in different government hospitals of the province where they were diagnosed positive after medical tests.
Health Department said that 19 patients from Lahore, six from Rawalpindi and one from Sheikhupura were brought in the hospitals while two other patients were brought from other province.
