At least four persons including a teacher, Levies personnel and two robbers were killed in separate firing incidents in different areas of the district on Tuesday.
Police said some unknown armed men gunned down a teacher of a private school in tehsil Zehri of Khuzdar district and fled the scene.
Two robbers opened fire at the Levies man identified as Muhammad Ayub on offering resistance during a motorcycle-snatching incident at Khandar Road leaving him critically injured. In retaliatory firing, both the robbers were killed on the spot. The injured security man was shifted to a hospital where he also succumbed to wounds. The police registered separate cases in both the incidents and started investigations.
