Foreign Office spokesman Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry has said that Pakistan has deep grief and concerns over the violence in the friendly country of Thailand.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry expressed hope that the Thai people will be able to find a peaceful solution to their problems.
He said that Pakistan also hopes that democratic principles will be honoured in Thailand and that democratic institutions will be respected.
