Overseas Pakistanis’ Foundation (OPF) has launched free shuttle service to facilitate countrymen returning to their homeland from abroad.
Talking to reporters on the inauguration of the service on Tuesday, OPF Managing Director (MD) Iftikhar Babar said the service was aimed at facilitating the Pakistani citizens who return from abroad.
He said that the shuttle service will carry citizens from Benazir Bhutto Airport Islamabad to different areas of the twin cities including Railway Station Rawalpindi, Saddar, Faizabad, Daewoo bus terminal and G-7 Markaz Islamabad.
Iftikhar Babar said that if the returning overseas Pakistanis face any difficulty in reaching their native towns they should consult the OPF helpline 051-9208599 established in OPF head office. The helpline will remain functional round the clock for facilitating the countrymen, he added.
He informed that the OPF is soon going to initiate a travel advisory project for overseas Pakistanis on permanent basis and details in this regard can be acquired from the website of the foundation.
