Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will embark on an important visit to Afghanistan on Saturday.
According to media reports, during his stay in Afghanistan, Nawaz will discuss host of issues with Afghan President Hamid Karzai with special focus on construction of Peshawar-Kabul motorway besides demanding immediate halt to infiltration from Afghanistan to Pakistan.
The discussions will be focused on efforts for the promotion of peace and reconciliation process in Afghanistan while the visit is part of Pakistan’s continuing engagement with HPC for the facilitation of peace and reconciliation in Afghanistan.
Nawaz will further discuss the Afghan peace and reconciliation process with Afghan leadership. He will also discuss release of Afghan Taliban warlords languishing in Pakistani prisons.
