Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Saturday appealed from the people of Pakistan to remain calm and observe a day of mourning to express solidarity with the families of the Ancholi blast victims.
Altaf Hussain also appealed to the citizens of Karachi to remain peaceful and keep their businesses, shops and the educational institutes open.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed sorrow over the loss of lives in Karachi blasts.
On the other hand, Karachi JI chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that the government has miserably failed to maintain law and order situation in the country.
Shia Ulema Council has also announced three-day mourning across the country against twin blasts in Karachi while Pakistan Sunny Tehreek has also condemned the deadly blasts.
