Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has remarked that “corruption culture was promoted by hampering investigation process in NICL case and we can not allow any one to plunder national wealth.”
The Supreme Court (SC) while rendering decision in NICL mega corruption case Friday ordered for initiation of action immediately against former minister Makhdoom Amin Fahim, NAB chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, Nargis Sethi, Suleman Ghani, Ismail Qureshi and others.

The SC ordered for registration of cases against NAB chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry and federal tax ombudsman for impeding investigation process in this case. Director FIA Lahore Waqar Haider also created hindrances in the to investigation. Investigation of this case will be handed over to NAB besides being charged with making all the recoveries involved in this scam as soon as possible, court further ordered.
The court directed NAB to bring back Amin Qasim Dada, Mohsin Warraich and Khalid Anwar to country immediately.
