PIA employee arrested for carrying drugs


An employee of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been arrested in Britain for possession of heroin.
Sources said British authorities seized the heroin from the flight steward at Leeds Bradford Airport.
The steward has been arrested and will be presented before the British court later on.
Separately, a woman passenger travelling on a London-bound PIA flight suffered a cardiac arrest and died.
According to reports the 50-year-old passenger suffered a heart attack during the flight. First aid was provided but she could not survive.
