Five security personnel killed in NWA

As many as five security personnel were killed and 10 others injured in a car bombing in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) on Wednesday.
The official said that a suicide bomber struck an explosive-laden vehicle with a security check post in Shewa, Mirali Subdivision of NWA. The officials confirmed that five personnel lost their lives and 10 others were injured.
The officials said that injured personnel have been admitted to the Combined Military Hospital, Hangu District. Soon after the attack, Thall-Mirali Road was closed for traffic and a search operation was started in the area.
Late on Tuesday evening, at least seven militants including a top commander were killed when explosive went off at Mirali. The militants were reportedly preparing a plan for car suicide attack against the security forces.
Meanwhile, the officials said that late on midnight between Tuesday and Wednesday dozens of militants attacked a police check post in Natyaan. The police officials retaliated, killing four militants.
A few days back, militants attacked a check post in Darand near Buner. They set on fire the check post and killed two cops.
