Traffic accidents take three lives on Sunday

Lahore experienced an itchy Sunday, as in different traffic accidents three people died and several received injuries.

In the first accident, an over speeded car hits a man to death at Lalak Chowak Defence on Sunday. According to details, an over speeded car hits a man named Asghar, 18 resident of Azad Kashmir to death, when he tried to cross the road. The police reached at the spot and moved the dead body to the morgue for further investigation.

In another traffic accident occurred at MugalpuraCanal road, two men died and two were injured. Reports said that the injured victims were shifted to the Services hospital for medical treatment.

In an identical event, an over speeded car collided with Metro Bus route’s cage at Naseerabad, Ferozepur Road area. It is, however, reported that three men sitting in the car were badly injured and shifted to the nearest hospital by rescue 1122 for medical treatment.

SIKH PILGRIM DIED: An under treatment Sikh pilgrim died in Pakistan Institute of Cardiology on Sunday, report said that the Sikh pilgrim named Shangara Singh, resident of Amaritsar received heart attack last night and was shifted to the hospital.

ROOF COLLAPSE INJURES TWO: A house roof collapsed in Manawa, injuring two persons, including a woman badly.

CAR SNATCHED: A citizen named Arif was deprived of his Honda car from his door step situated in the area of G-BlockJoherTown.

STOLEN WOOD SEIZED: Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) claimed to have seized 1400 kg stolen wood worth thousands of rupees and arrested two accused.

Meanwhile, the PHP officials also arrested five accused for possessing illegal weapons and recovered two pistols, one gun and liquor from their possession.
