Two persons including a policeman were injured when an explosion occurred near a police van in Scheme Chowk area of Badaber village, Kohat road on Saturday.
According to police officials, a blast occurred near a police mobile on Kohat Road in Scheme Chowk area of Peshawar. The police mobile van, which was on routine patrolling, came under attack when some unidentified miscreants planted explosives in a gas calendar blow-out with a remote control device. The blast injured two people including a policeman and a pedestrian.
Soon after the attack, the officials of the security forces cordoned off the area and started search operation. The officials of the rescue 1122 and Edhi rushed on the spot and shifted the injured to the Lady Ready Hospital for medical treatment.
