Non availability of the nomination papers for Local Bodies (LB) polls on the last date of filing has besieged the candidates in difficulties in Sindh.
The nomination papers are being filed for the 264 union committees and union councils of Karachi.
On Tuesday, due to the rumors of changes in election schedule and problems in the availability of nomination papers, gripped the candidates in the state of confusion and uncertainty.
Flow of candidates towards the offices of Returning Officers (RO) and assistant ROs continued to a slow pace, however, at the end of the day a large number of people filed their nomination papers.
In a second phase, objections on papers will be filed from November 13 to 16.
The final lists of candidates along with electoral symbols will be issued on November 23.
