Nishat Group Chairman Mian Mohammad Mansha met Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday and presented a cheque of Rs 35 million for earthquake victims of Balochistan.
On the occasion, the chief minister said the earthquake had caused large scale devastation in Balochistan and a huge amount was required for the rehabilitation of displaced people. He said the government was extending every possible help to rehabilitate earthquake-stricken people. He said Pakistani industrialists, traders and philanthropists had always responded positively to natural calamities. Shahbaz appealed to the people to donate generously to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for earthquake victims of Balochistan.
