University of Heath Sciences (UHS) on Sunday announced the results of the medical and dental colleges’ entrance test.
As per results, 11,443 candidates out of 41,677 obtained less than 40 percent marks. While half of the total candidates secured only 60 percent marks.
The number of candidates appeared in the test on September 22 were 41,677 from which only 19,677 students secured 60 percent marks.
The number of candidates who obtained 50 percent marks was 5,644 and 11,443 students were those who were even unable to obtain 40 percent marks.
In Punjab, there are 3,405 MBBS seats in 20 public sector medical colleges besides 216 BDS seats in dental colleges and in 28 private medical colleges there are only 5,030 MBBS seats and 712 BDS seats in 12 dental colleges.
