A meeting of the religious affairs committee of Data Darbar to review the arrangements for the 970th annual Ghusal of the shrine of Hazrat Ali Hajveri (RA) known as Data Sahib was held at 90-Shahreh-e-Quaid-i-Azam on Sunday.
The meeting was chaired by Finance Federal Minister and committee chairman Ishaq Dar.
Auqaf Secretary Dr Saqib Aziz briefed the minister about the arrangements. He said distribution of invitation cards has already been started.
Ishaq Dar asked authorities to make sure that during the ceremony no one should use loudspeakers outside the Darbar as it created problems for those who recited the Holy Quran.
The minister also directed authorities concerned to extend the working of the dowry committee for one more year.
