Give peace a chance

The APC held in September had decided to give peace a chance and had authorised the government to hold talks with the militants. Thus, in a special meeting of the cabinet the government has presented its firm stance that it stands determined on negotiations with the Taliban post-Hakimullah’s killing.

Major stronghold of militants have been dismantled by our security forces, whatever we have been left with is the last minute hiccups that the Taliban are taking after their strangulation. Based on this premise of peace, Pakistan had protested the untimely killing of Hakim-ullah Mehsud through a drone strike that has stalled the process right at its infancy. But, since we are ardent believers that the show must go on, so it definitely must, whatever the cost may be.

  1. We are trying to opt for the talks with the militants , instead of combating and eliminating them. How can any sane political leader's conscience can permit him to shake hands with the killers of humanity. These ruthless terrorists have killed thousands of people without any reason or rhyme. The resolve of the government amounts to nothing , if the Talibans are not willing to give peace a chance.

The terms of endearment are too costly for us, considering the loss of life in violent attacks on us by the militants It is continuing unabated by the TTP. This shows their lack of willingness for peace process.

Ms Lubna has believed in the rhetoric of the interior minister, who has lied that a delegation was being sent to offer the talks initiation with the militants. Nothing of the sort was planned, or happening. . The P.M's statement in London and Interior Ministe's statements are contradictory. No peace process was started or taking place. America must not be blamed for Ch . Nisar's lethargy and delay caused to begin the talks.

There is no chance , if the talks are held now , then these would be successful.
