National Assembly opposition leader Khursheed Shah, while expressing his reaction over the release of former military dictator Pervez Musharraf, said that it had been decided already as part of a secret deal.

According to media reports, Khursheed Shah said that he had made it clear 20 days ago that Musharraf would be acquitted of all charges related to the Bugti and Ghazi murder cases. He said Pervez Musharraf was granted bail under the National Reconciliation Ordinance.

Mr. Shah stated that the government is following the same pattern of NRO for which PML-N and judiciary have been making a hue and cry without any justification.

He said that release of Musharraf was made possible by lingering on cases filed against him. It was just a tactic to weaken the cases including the Bugti murder case, Ghazi murder case, Benazir murder case and Judges Detention Case.

  1. HONOURABLE MINISTER DO NOT SPEAK WITH A FORKED TONGUE, YOUR PARTY IS THE BENEFICIARY OF THE SAME NRO. YOU SCRATCH MY BACK I WILL SCRATCH YOUR BACK. THE WHOLE POLITICAL SYSTEM RESTS/FUNCTIONS ON THE PRINCIPLE OF "MILLIE BAGHATT". GOD HELP THE PEOPLE OF PAKISTAN..

  2. Khursheed Shah's statement is like the kettle calling the pot black. Compared to PPP leadership and top leaders Musharraf was not involved in looting the country, Had there been slightest indication of his being involved in corruption, NRO, would not have helped his release under a hyperactive judiciary.

  3. I f deal is seen by Khursheed shah ,he should have brought to light so that other may know.Being opposition leader it is his pious duty to let fact be known to the masses Pakistan. If he fails to do it means there is some thing black in his heart

  4. Khursheed Shah's own party leadership came to Pakistan as result of deal(NRO). Why didn't he make hue n cry at that time. PPP govt completed 5 years tenure under a deal with all stake holders in the name of national reconciliation and now they have done the same with PML(N) govt. As a result of this latest deal between PPP n PML(N), NAB chairman was appointed with the assurance that cases shall be pursued against Mr AZ and PPL like PML(N) will continue to play the role of friendly opposition. TO BHAI PEHLE APNE GHIRBAAN MAIN TO JHAANKO….

  5. I M NOT IN PML N BUT I KNOW THAT CASES WERE SO WEEK DUE TO WHICH HE WAS GRANTED BAIL ON MERIT BUT HE WAS NOT YET ACQUITTED OF THE CHARGES LEVELLED AGAINST HIM. HOWEVER DONT KNOW ABOUT DEAL. THERE IS NO NEED OF DEAL BY EX;PRESIDENT BECAUSE CASES ARE SO WEAK AND PROSECUTION DO NOT PROVE THE CASES. THE STATEMENT OF MINISTER IS A POLITICAL STATEMENT.
