Lahore High Court (LHC) while taking notice of deaths caused by dengue has said that the court can not become a silent observer over loss of human lives and has ordered the government of Punjab to submit its stance regarding arrangements regarding anti-dengue campaign. LHC Justice Khalid Mehmood Khan resumed hearing of the case on Tuesday when the counsel on the part of the petitioner was of the view that Punjab government diametrically failed to overcome the fatal disease as people are contracting dengue every other day. Commenting on the situation, the court said despite tall claims, the government of Punjab could not overcome dengue fever. The court also has directed the government of Punjab to submit its reply regarding measurements taken in order to overcome dengue on November 21.
