Member National Assembly (MNA) and leader Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Dr. Farooq Sattar said government is not achieving its targets in the operation in Karachi.
On Wednesday, while talking to media outside the parliament house, Dr. Farooq Sattar said, “Opposition should protest in a democratic manner in the senate, while talks process should be kept in hand and the government should immediately convince the opposition”.
He said, the real issue of the country is the price hike and unemployment and these problems are steadily beco,ing worse. The government along with opposition should take the steps which are favorable for the people of Pakistan.
Farooq Sattar said that national political consensus is required to resolve the issues like terrorism and extremism as outlaws are destroying and weakening the country’s economy.
“Karachi is economic center of the country and the engine of its development; the government is not achieving its targets here,” he concluded.
