Sindh Rangers claimed to have arrested 699 suspects in 650 targeted raids during the last two months.
According to Rangers spokesman, the paramilitary force arrested 699 accused including 9 terrorists, 95 target killers, 123 extortionists and six kidnappers during targeted actions in Karachi.
Spokesman added that 1,324 weapons of various kinds including LMGs, SMGs, uni-barrel rocket launchers, pashpasha, hand grenades, crackers and bullet-proof jackets were also recovered from the mega polis during September and October.
In last two months, 9 encounters with criminals took place in which 14 terrorist and criminals were killed and four abductees were recovered, while one rangers’ personnel embraced shahadat, the spokesman added.
