A bomb explosion in Peshawar on Monday caused a telephone exchange in the Meli Khel area to go up in flames.
Fortunately, the building was empty thus there was no loss of life.
The capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is no stranger to acts of terrorism and violence. Recently, a bomb blast resulted in the death of two police officers and left eight others injured. The explosion took place near a hospital in the Budh Bher area of the city. According to sources, the police van that was providing security to the polio team was targeted.
