Energy crises to be resolved: Shahbaz

Addressing the heads and representatives of international companies associated with energy sector in Berlin (Germany), Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said Tuesday that energy crisis in the country will be resolved with the help of friendly countries.
The chief minister said that load-shedding had caused severe damage to industrial and agricultural sectors and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government was working round the clock to overcome this problem.
He said he is sure that his visit to Germany will be a step forward in resolving energy crisis, adding there are vast prospects of foreign investment in Punjab.
Various proposals were finalised during these meetings for generation of electricity from solid waste, bagasse and other non-traditional methods.
Talking to representatives of German periodicals, Shahbaz Sharif said time has come for the West to change its perception about Pakistan regarding terrorism. He said that Pakistan has sacrificed more than 50,000 lives in the war against terror which include officers and soldiers of the army and police as well.
