CM leaves his mark on Japanese ambassador too!

Japanese Ambassador in Pakistan Hiroshi Inomata called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.

Matters of mutual interest, bilateral relations and cooperation in different sectors were discussed in the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that Pakistan and Japan have warm and friendly relations and Japan is a role model for the developing countries. He stressed that Japan should cooperate with the Punjab government in technical education sector. It was decided in the meeting to increase cooperation in energy, technical education, tourism and other sectors.

The Japanese ambassador said that he was very happy to visit Lahore and the efforts of the Chief Minister Punjab for the development of the province are commendable.

JAPANESE AMBASSADOR INAUGURATES SCHOOL:

Japan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Hiroshi Inomata on Friday inaugurated a school at Sheikhupura.

The school was built with the assistance of $122,656 provided by the Japanese government to Care Foundation, an NGO working in the education sector.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the managing trustee of the foundation, members of the NGO and children from the school. The new school has been designed to accommodate approximately 360 children from elementary to high school levels and expected that new opportunities will be opened for the rural youth.

Speaking on the occasion, Inomata said that the project would improve welfare of children in the area and would strengthen the existing friendly relations between people of Japan and Pakistan.

JAPANESE DELEGATION CALLS ON SSP: A three-member delegation of the Japan Embassy called on SSP Admin Rana Shahzad Akbar in CCPO Office on Friday.

The delegation was led by Second Secretary Toshi Cazuyamama. In the meeting, the SSP and Cazuyamama exchanged views on matters of mutual interests besides steps taken by police for the security of Japanese citizens living in Lahore.
