A couple was reportedly kidnapped, beaten, beheaded and then buried in unmarked graves in the Helmand province of Afghanistan.
Police said that the couple was in their 20s and was killed by family members who were ashamed that both the man and the women had been living together outside marriage.
The elder brother of the male victim told reporters that a group of 10 men broke into their home on Monday and kidnapped both of them.
The older brother also told police that the woman had run away with his sibling and had been living in their family home.
Beheaded bodies of the victims were found in the graveyard by local residents on Thursday.
According to police investigations, the killings took place because the couple was indulged in extra marital affair and believed that the family of girl is behind this incident.
