China has officially offered Pakistan to export 3200 megawatts of electricity.
The offer was made by Chinese officials during the talks with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Urumqi.
The Chinese officials said that the project could be completed in three years’ time.
Shahbaz Sharif welcomed the offer and said it is need to assess by the experts to ensure cost effectiveness.
He said the mega power project would give a boost to the country stumbling to fulfil its power needs
The Punjab Chief Minister is currently on a visit to China to discuss cooperation between Pakistan and China in different fields particularly energy sector
