Unidentified terrorists carried out an attack on the envoy of an Arab prince who was on a hunting trip in the Turbat district of Balochistan on Tuesday. A Levies official was killed in the attack.

The incident took place in Buleda area of Turbat where an Arab prince and his envoy were on a hunting trip while the Levies forces were providing the security, officials said.

Officials did not mention the nationality of Arab prince, however local media said the prince belongs to a Gulf state.

Earlier in Feburuary this year, Qatar based Arab Prince was also attacked in the Pattok area of Kech in Balochistan.

According to reports, the terrorists opened fire from one vehicle and also managed to steal weapons belonging to Levies forces and the envoy.

However, the prince along with his envoy and security officials escaped from the location.

Balochistan, Pakistan’s resource-rich and largest province by area, suffers from an upsurge in sectarian violence and attacks by separatist militants, who target civilians and security forces alike.

  1. It is good to hear that in our disturbed area these Arab princes still come for hunting purpose and our state machinery is there to protect these oil gods in our soil. Now we should realize where the funds for public security is gone.Dr malik political govt would justify this kind of luxurious living/security measures for guests in worst effected areas of Pakistan?
