Sindh Local Government Minister Syed Owais Muzaffar has taken notice of the irregularities occurred in the promotions of officers from scale BS-16 and above by the local councils and other field offices of the local government department.
The minister directed development authorities and Karachi Water and Sewerage Board heads to furnish the details of all such promotions made during the last 10 years within three days. The details must include promoted officers’ qualification, date of appointment, seniority position and promotion in next higher grade along-with approval of the government.
Muzaffar warned to suspend the heads and in-charge officers of the organisation if they failed to provide details within given time frame.
Well Done Sir….However, have you also asked authorities to submit the details of Your Own too….DC Karachi….Mr Qazi Jamal Mustafa is one person who has been promoted and given money making posts as well He has not Done CSS and is enjoying the positions…The only claim is looking after the Minister….
It should be across the board so that no one should object sir. Qazi Jamal Mustafa was a credit card defaulter and he has recently bought a house in DHA Karachi for Rs 70 Million. Where did he got this money…has he declared the value of the house. Probably neither.
Lets see if the Minister can verify this. Would appreciate the newspaper if this is forwarded to the relevant Minister or the Chief Minister . In most likelihood the Chief Secretary will not do this as he has to listen to his bosses.
Lets see how the Ministers conducts on this..
