160 arrested during Rangers operation

Law enforcement personnel on Tuesday arrested more than 160 alleged criminals wanted in different cases of target killings, robbery and extortion in the metropolis.

Rangers and police in joint operations raided areas of Baldia Town, North Nazimabad, Gulshin Zia, Malir and Saud Abad and arrested 29 people including activists of different political parties and recovered heavy arms and ammunition from their possession.

In a similar operation, security forces launched a crackdown on criminals’ dens in the district Garbi and arrested 61 accused of possessing illegal weapons.

Likewise, South Zone police arrested 19 accused while East Police held 49 accused during search operation. Forces also seized ammunition and narcotics out of their custody.

In another raid by Ferozabad police two accused were captured.
