The Police department on Tuesday reinstated 150 policemen who were suspended last month.
Following an intelligence report, the department had sacked more than 150 policemen from all zones of Karachi but after few days of their suspension, majority of them were declared innocent and most of them have been restored to their previous positions.
According to media reports, the suspended 37 policemen of East zone were restored and 16 of them have already been posted to their respective police stations. Similarly, 26 out of 39 police personnel of the South Zone and Malir have also joined their duties.
