Islamabad Police Monday arrested 10 anti-social elements and recovered, weapons, hash and heroine from their possession, police spokesman said.

As per details, Islamabad senior superintendent of police (SSP) directed all police stations for effective crackdown against anti-social elements involved in different criminal activities.

Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Ghulam Murtza from Kohsar Police Station arrested accused Muhammad Zubair and recovered one 30 bore illicit pistol along with 2 bullets from him.

Sub-Inspector Abdul Gahfoor from Secretariat Police Station arrested a drug pusher Zulqurnain and recovered 210 gram hashish from him.

Sub-Inspector (SI) Mashooq Ali recovered tampered vehicle bearing registration No LPT- 5917 from Muhammad Saleem.

SI Muhammad Ajmal from Tarnol Police Station arrested accused Arfan Shah and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with 2 bullets from him.

SI Muhammad Raiz from Industrial Area Police Station arrested 3 accused Rafiuddin, Saeed Ullah, Fawad Shebaz and recovered one Kalashnikov, one 9MM pistol along with 39 bullets from their possession.

Meanwhile SI Muhammad Akram from Industrial Area Police Station also arrested accused Sheriz involved in illegal gas selling.

SI Muhammad Basheer arrested a drug dealer Muhammad Fayyaz and recovered 110 gram heroine from him.

SI Shoukat Ali from Koral Police Station arrested accused Adeel and recovered 110 grams hashish from his possession.

SI Shams Akbar from CIA police arrested accused Manzar Abbas and recovered one dagger from him.

Separate cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.

Islamabad SSP has appreciated the overall performance of all officials and said that Islamabad police were committed to ensuring effective action anti-social elements.
