Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said his party would support every positive step of the Nawaz Sharif-led government for the progress and prosperity of the country.

Speaking at a party meeting in Naudero‚ he said an alternate course of action would be looked into if the government failed to address the challenges facing the country.

Zardari said power houses would be established at the district level in Sindh to overcome the energy crisis.

Zardari said the targeted operation in Karachi was running well.

The former president said the PPP would “generate cheaper electricity in Sindh province and would continue serving the people robustly”, adding that the PPP was still a majority party in the Senate.

While commenting on ties with the prime minister, the former president added that they would also say ‘go ahead Nawaz Sharif, we are with you’, if he made better decisions.

The PPP leader said he had instructed the chief minister of Sindh to recruit more men in the police department.

  1. Hey Zardari, you had 5 years to do what you are promising today, you didn't do a d… thing in 5 years, what makes you think you can do it now that you are not in power????? I hear you are teaching your useless son to lie to people like you do,good job there,he is just as far from reality like you are.Down with PPP

  2. If both Zordari and NS are serious about 'our' country, they will bring in land reforms, abolish feudalism and its dirty culture, educate the masses ( who are deliberately being kept illiterate ), open schools in all villages, esp. in Sindh and eliminate bonded labour. The local wadera has to be marginalised for the country to go ahead.
