Former president Pervez Musharraf’s bail petition was filed in the sessions court in the murder case of Abdul Rasheed Ghazi on Saturday.
His counsel Ilyas Siddiqui filed the petition. The former commando has already been granted bail in three cases, assassination of Benazir Bhutto, murder of Nawab Akbar Bugti and judges’ detention case.
Later, after submission of surety bonds in the Supreme Court, when he was closer to possible release from nearly six months of house arrest, Islamabad police had arrested him in the Ghazi’s murder case.
