Newly appointed National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman and former interior secretary Major (retd.) Qamar Zaman Chaudhry on Friday said that all available resources will be put to use to wipe out corruption from national institutions and for ensuring merit. Zaman said that corruption and eliminating mismanagement is among the top priorities and no compromise will be made in this regard. He said that to regain the confidence of masses, NAB needs to show performance and reopen cases without differentiation of political affiliation or influence. Senior officers of the bureau briefed the new chief about their respective areas of responsibilities.
