Three alleged terrorists were killed in a blast that took place on Mangopir Road in the Orangi Town area on Thursday night.
The three killed in the explosion were reported as suspects attempting to plant explosive material or simply carrying it, which went off prematurely, according to police.
Bomb Disposal Squad and police cordoned off the area and were able to collect some evidence. The explosion created panic and triggered tension in the area.
Police said that the two deceased were identified as Rafiullah and Asmatullah, who belonged to district Qila Abdullah, Balochistan.
The explosion was very powerful and was heard from afar.
