China has promised to provide six million dollars to Pakistan for the earthquake relief efforts in Balochistan.
An agreement in this regard was signed by the Secretary Economic Affairs Division‚ Ms. Nargis Sethi and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan‚ Sun Weidong on Tuesday.
The contribution consists of 4.5 million dollars worth of tangible items which includes articles like medicines‚ tents and other necessary articles. A cash of 1.5 million dollars is also part of the assistance.
Speaking on the occasion‚ Secretary Economic Affairs Division thanked the Chinese Government for their support during all national calamities.
She also highlighted the close and friendly relations between the two countries.
The Chinese Ambassador expressed his government’s commitment towards further strengthening the existing close friendly relations between the two counties.
He said that China would continue to contribute to the overall development and progress of Pakistan.
I am not sure if any of this money going to reach to the people of baluchistan.
