Action initiated against lawyer Salman Raja for threatening SC judge

Investigations have been launched against Salman Akram Raja advocate for threatening senior judge of Supreme Court (SC) Justice Jawad S Khawaja through a mobile phone SMS.

On request by SC Assistant Registrar Ijaz Ahmed, an FIR was lodged against Salman at Secretariat Police Station under Article 25-D of Telegraph Act on Tuesday.

The assistant registrar pleaded in the application that accused Salman threatened senior judge Justice Jawad S Khawaja, therefore, action should be taken against him.

The police responding to the FIR No 195 lodged on October 08, have started action against the accused, but could not arrest him until the filing of the report.

  1. The Honable judge has rented his residential property for commercial purposes. Raja has objected on this violation.

  2. Exposed this judge in media. If I am not wrong this is a long haired judge who tries his best to be intellectual.. He needs a good hair cut and therefore should call Rehaman Malik for the best hair cut :)). Only then he can think wisely and justice

    • No one should be considered above the law. In principle this FIR should have been lodged by the Honorable judge and not by an Assistant Registrar who is not an aggrieved party.

  3. Mr Dhotiwala please take care of your Indian dhoti. Fear it may not be pulled down by any. If the honourable judge has kept long hairs it is his business and not yours. Just focus over your untidy bodi. You stink like a dirty morass.
