Child death case: Court orders release of eight doctors of Mayo Hospital

The district and sessions court on Monday ordered the release of eight doctors working at Mayo Hospital who were nabbed for alleged negligence. It should be mentioned that a case was filed against the doctors of Mayo Hospital Lahore by the family of a child who allegedly died due to the negligence of medical staff of the hospital in 2012. Eight doctors were detained in the case and were produced before the court. The district and sessions judge after hearing the stance of both the petitioner and defenders disposed off the case and directed authorities to release the arrested doctors.
