Additional Sessions Judge Arif Mehmood’s wife, Afia Niazi died after she was shot by their 10-year-old son. According to initial reports, their son, was allegedly cleaning a gun when he accidentally fired a bullet at his mother, critically wounding her. She was taken to Jinnah Hospital where she survived for four hours before succumbing to her injuries. Her body is being kept at the hospital.
