Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif has said that the prices of electricity have been enhanced to stop raising circular debt again.
In an interview‚ Khawaja Asif denied speculations about the revision of electricity tariff.
Khawaja Asif said the government is committed to provide the relief to the downtrodden that is why the users of two hundred units were exempted from price increase of electricity.
He further said that the government is still giving two hundred billion rupees of subsidy to facilitate the less users of electricity.
