Dead body packed in gunny bag recovered, policeman injured

A police sub-inspector sustained severe injuries during a clash with outlaws in Karachi. During their rift with insurgents, a dead body packed in gunny bag was found from the L-8 Market area.

Police said that cross firing took place between police personnel and insurgents.

Consequently, a sub-inspector of the Police Station in Steel Town Nizam-ud-Din sustained injuries, while the accused fled from the scene after the incident.

Police authorities said, accused were involved in looting citizens and incident occurred after police reached to the market.

Afterwards, the police recovered a bag containing an unidentified dead body from the same area. The authorities have started investigations into the matter.
