About 419 lawmakers have not submitted details of their assets despite a deadline set by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) came to an end.
According to facts and figures, the ECP received the details of assets owned by only 748 members out of 1,167 while 419 members, including KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, PPP leader Amin Fahim, PTI leaders Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Javed Hashmi and former interior minister Aftab Sherpao have not submitted the details.
The defaulters include 27 senators, 95 MNAs, 123 Punjab Assembly lawmakers, 68 from Sindh Assembly, 27 from Balochistan and 85 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The ECP had set September 30 as deadline for submission of the details, but the afore-mentioned politicians showed no heed in this regard.
According to rules and regulations, the membership of defaulter members would be cancelled on October 15.
