The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday disqualified Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker Iftikhar Ahmed Khan in a fake degree case.
A three-member bench, headed by Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, heard a petition filed by Iqbal Ahmed Khan Bislana against decision of the Lahore High Court (LHC) regarding fake degree case of the PP-81 Jhang MPA.
Khan appeared before the court along with his council Akram Sheikh.
On the occasion, the court gave him some lines of English to read which he failed. After which the court disqualified him for holding a fake degree.
The Higher Education Commission already declared his degree fake, however, the court called him to appear.
