JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman condemned the Qisa Khawani Bazar blast in the strongest term on Sunday and warned that enemies of Pakistan would take advantage if there remained uncertainty in dialogue with the Taliban.

In a statement issued here, Maulana said no religion allows murder of innocent people. He said half of the country’s population had been affected by terrorism and a large number of people were dying in acts of terrorism on daily basis.

Fazl said it was a matter of concern that there was still uncertainty about the beginning of dialogue with the Taliban and he feared that the enemies would take benefit from it. He said the situation would go out of control if there was no seriousness in talks.

He asked the government to come out with a clear plan for talks with the Taliban. He also expressed sympathies with the bereaved families and called for extending necessary medical assistance to the injured.
