The stunning expo went on for its second consecutive day, attracting spectators from all walks of life. A number of fashion brands illustrated the event, one of which was Gulabo. Founded in 2005 Gulabo is a high street fashion brand, with red roses and truck art as their inspiration they seem proud to be Pakistani. The Gulabo truck art scarves,Tote bags ,and fashion lines have long been trendsetters in high street fashion in Pakistan . Meanwhile, Deepik Perwani also kept the show going. With a standing ovation at Milan Fashion Week and the best international designer award at Miami Fashion Week makes this label a power house in Pakistani pret. Exclusively created for Pakistan Expo, The Deepak Perwani export collection encompassed freedom for Frieda Khalo from Kharadar to Defense as she traveled Karachi soaking in its culture its diversity and its cosmopolitan persona. Umaima Mustafa’s debut collection is a statement in sophisticated refinement. Her ultra feminine cuts, and intricate designs have clarity are executed beautifully. The collection aims to balance construction and fluidity. Palettes of black, beige, white and gold, have been used to create garments that transcend effortlessly from day to night. Fahad Hussain was also a major contender at the show. Palatial Kitsch – ready to wear Pre-Fall 2013 inspired by the fallen decadence of exuberant palaces and glitz and glamour of the cosmopolitan. The collection featured a wide range of separates and exclusive editions of Fahad Hussayn. Another popular brand was Print Museum whose prints in pure silks and chiffons . the color palette varies from hues of nudes mixed and paired with bright printtehs with a lot of metallic textures and surfaces. Ayesha Ibrahim was involved with the Pakistani fashion industry for the last 14 years having worked intensively with craft person she has recreated and resurrected innumerable techniques and styles, each creation is the fusion of ethnicity and modernism to bring forth truly classical apparel. The designer obsession with colour and detailed texturing is visible in every ensemble. The inspiration for this designer is the exploration of all surrounding medium , An artist in nature she is continuously delving in the past era for painting cloth. Saturated with colour , rich in textures borrowed from past civilization ornaments by distinctly unusual pieces of raw materials perfected in simplicity style ,all shrouded in a definite statement , all borrowed and obtained elements of modernism this is what makes a Ayesha Ibrahim ensemble..This collection is a mixture of pure eastern and western appearances and designs which has colorful pants, jackets and long gowns in the color pallet of gray , pink and turquoise green. A recipient of the award for the best women inteprenure exporter as a fashion designer, Ayesha Ibrahim has been exporting not only to UK, UAE and Malaysia but throughout the world. Through the years Ayesha has worked extensively with all major parts of Pakistan and has increased her export day by day to different part of the world.
