Teenage girls murdered in Gujranwala were raped: medical report

The medical reports of two teenage girls shot dead in Gujranwala on September 26 revealed Friday that they had been raped.
According to the doctors at District Headquarters Hospital Gujranwala, preliminary medical reports suggested that the victims had been subjected to sexual abuse.
The two girls aged between 14-15 years had been shot dead near Madan Chak on the outskirts of a village in Gujranwala. Moreover, five bullets had also been recovered from the site of incident. The dead bodies had been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Gujranwala for post-mortem.
In a separate incident, the body of a teenaged schoolgirl was also found on Karachi’s Seaview beach on September 26.
The autopsy report of the girl confirmed that she was “sodomised”, a medico-legal officer said on condition of anonymity.
Narcotics smuggling bid foiled: Anti Narcotic Force (ANF) seized 15.6 kgs of opium and arrested three suspects involved in smuggling narcotics into the city.
In two other cases, the ANF recovered heroin from parcels booked by courier companies. As per details, ANF Lahore received information that a narcotics deal was going down in city.
Consequently, ANF deputed a team to keep an eye on the gang. The team surveyed the location for to weeks. Finally, the gang executed the narcotics deal at Batti Chowk, near Ravi Bridge Lahore. ANF team raided a transaction-point and seized a Honda Civic car and arrested three persons, recovering 6 kgs of opium. The arrested individuals were Shamas ul Amin s/o Muhammad Amin r/o Swabi, Asif s/o Jauhar r/o Swabi and Navid Ahmed s/o Abdul Majid r/o Gujranwala. Later a detailed research of vehicle resulted in further recovery of 9.6 kgs of opium concealed in secret cavities of the car.
