The government has called a session of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly on demand of the opposition in order to express solidarity with the Christian community in the aftermath of twin bomb blasts at Peshawar’s All Saint Church.
The session will begin on September 30 and will continue for two days.
For the first time since October 2007, a session has been summoned by the government over a demand by the opposition.
The decision to summon a session was made during a meeting between the treasury and opposition members, presided over by the KP Assembly speaker.
