So that is your version of Islam?

The terrorist attack on All Saints Church Peshawar has violated all the basic teachings of Islam and it was in a sharp contrast to Quran and Sunnah. This was said by former Member of Punjab Assembly and Rangeela Foundation Chairperson Farah Deeba while talking to Reverend Pastor Asif Masih and other religious leaders of the Christian community on Thursday. She also offered condolences for those who lost their lives in the deadly attack and prayed for early recovery of the injured. Deeba said the Pakistan Muslim League (N) government sincerely believed in provision of security to its people and a comprehensive security plan was being chalked out for the protection of the worship places of all faiths without any discrimination. Lauding the services rendered by the Christian community for Pakistan, the former MPA said it was the able leadership of PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif who not only included a Christian lawmaker in the federal cabinet but also gave him the portfolio of Ports and Shipping to enable him to accommodate more youth with employment opportunities. She said that terrorism in all its manifestations was condemnable and the perpetrators of the attack on Peshawar Church did not represent any Muslim group. Pastor Asif Masih who is also the Chief Executive Officer of E.G.M said that the Christian community had rendered unmatched sacrifices for the cause of defence and development of Pakistan and its people and they would leave no stone unturned to prove their patriotism and loyalty to the state of Pakistan. He added that no Christian ever was found involved in anti-state activity in Pakistan which reflected the strong allegiance of the Christian community to the cause of Pakistan despite the fact that the poverty-stricken Christians had not been empowered and their youth was unemployed and uneducated and were left with no choice but to do minor jobs.
