The lawyer’s community while showing solidarity with the slain Nemat Ali Randhawa, PML-N lawyer wing’s deputy president, boycotted court proceedings on Friday.
The deceased, Nemat Ali, was gunned down by unidentified miscreants in Nazimabad yesterday when he, along with his son, was on his way home from office. His son Tauquir Randhawa also sustained severe injuries.
Lawyers, showing their solidarity with the murdered leader, announced the boycott of court proceedings, causing tremendous problems for clients who were left hanging.
Jail officials also could not present prisoners in the courts due to lawyers’ boycott.
Likewise, lower courts in Sindh also went on strike against the brutal murder of their learned counsel.
