Federal Minister Abdul Qadir Baloch has said that 400 people were killed and over 600 were left injured by the powerful earthquake that rattled western parts of Balochistan.
Speaking at the National Assembly on Friday, he said 11 villages were completely destroyed due to the earthquake.
Abdul Qadir Baloch said a field hospital has been set up in Mashkay, while 27 truckloads of relief goods would reach affected areas today.
He denied reports of firing on medical teams or relief helicopters in the quake zones.
