Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that the Metro Bus Project has become a shining example of honesty, transparency and commitment to the people of PML-N throughout the world. He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held for including 19 new buses in the fleet of Lahore Metro Bus Service on Thursday. Representatives of Turk company Albaraka, public representatives and a large number of people of the area attended the ceremony. Hamza said that the pivot of PML-N politics is to give respect to the common man instead of elite and to make him a respectable and honourable citizen by bringing out from the quagmire of problems. Hamza said that Turkey has completed metro bus project in 22 months in Istanbul and Turk experts were astonished over the completion of this project in Lahore in 11 months under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
HAMZA OPENS INTERNATIONAL POULTRY EXPO: Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday said the government was taking practical steps to provide cheaper electricity to the industry. Addressing inaugural session of three-day International Poultry Expo at city’s Expo Centre, he said that poultry sector had a great potential as it was growing with each passing day. He said that Pakistan could earn handsome foreign exchange by exporting poultry products and for this purpose, breeders would have to adopt latest techniques to avoid losses. He offered government support for setting up poultry research centers for a better yield. Agreeing with the moot organisers’ opinion that state should extend support to help industry to flourish, Hamza said though the government was contributing its share but more should be done by the industrial sector itself to achieve the goal. He said Pakistan could not make commendable progress without promotion of cottage industry.
